This will give you more freedom in movement, as you'll be carrying a chunk of [thrive:compound type="iron"][/thrive:compound] with you as you explore your environment. It will also start to disappear with the rise of [b]Oxygen[/b]. As such, players who utilize [thrive:compound type="iron"][/thrive:compound] must be vigilant as oxygen begins to dominate their atmosphere, and should consider aerobic respiration if they wish to create highly-efficient eukaryotes.
