In multicellular, cell specialization still applies and gives the existing bonuses.

However, the system is expanded to include cell adjacency bonuses. And the specialization display now shows an [u]average specialization[/u] across the whole body plan.

When cells of the same type are placed next to each other they each gain [b]extra[/b] specialization.

Try placing a cell next to one of the same type to see the green arrows indicating bonuses.

Cell specialization gives [b]bonuses[/b] to almost all aspects of a cell: process speed, osmoregulation, and organelle effectiveness.

High [b]specialization[/b] makes for very effective cells.

Specialization can be increased by only using a few organelle types, or even just one.

Try placing an organelle you already have the most of to increase your specialization or another type to [i]lower[/i] the specialization to see what effect that has.

The current bonus is {0}% (the maximum bonus strength increases with cell size until {3} hexes)
The current bonus is granted as there are {1} {2} hexes.
The bonus increases as more organelles of the most common type are placed, and organelles of other types are removed.
