Translations made on this website are MIT-0 licensed. The text in the game proper are licensed as said in the code repository (https://github.com/Revolutionary-Games/Thrive). You agree that translations provided by you are allowed to be relicensed under the Thrive license as necessary by Revolutionary Games Studio.

In addition to being able to move around on the map, you can also control migration of your species' population without moving yourself.

This allows you to spread your species faster to new patches. When spread more widely, you'll have more total population and can move more easily yourself.

Though be careful to not send your population to patches your species is not tolerant to.

Give the migration tool a try. Click on the "migration manager" button and then pick a source patch and a target patch to move population between them.

It shows what food sources each species in the current area eats.

Predator-prey relationships are visible here along with environmental food sources.

This information can give insights on which way to evolve your species, but as a new player you don't need to worry if you don't understand this screen.

Adaptation is hard. There are many sources of [thrive:compound type="atp"][/thrive:compound], but not all of them are usable everywhere. You can use all the tabs and panels here to make the most informed choice you can, or just try something and see how it works!

Just remember: [u]if you don't make enough [thrive:compound type="atp"][/thrive:compound] you won't survive[/u].

A lifestyle of finding [thrive:compound type="glucose"][/thrive:compound] and turning it into [thrive:compound type="atp"][/thrive:compound] will work for now, but naturally occurring glucose will decline every generation.

As a finishing touch, you can rename your species by clicking on the name on the bottom left and editing the text.
