S'han esdevingut milions d'anys, eons sencers, d'activitat volcànica i d'impactes de meteorits. Aquesta activitat ha causat l'aparició d'un fenomen inaudit a l'univers.

La vida.

A les profunditats dels mars i oceans, són a punt d'aparèixer eixams de Microbis, sopes tupides d'organismes vius. De moment, però, en tot el planeta, només hi ha un sol organisme, una petita cèl·lula formada per una fina Membrana plena de Citoplasma i Material Genètic.
