Els objectius principals de Thrive, són crear un joc atractiu fàcil d'entendre pels nostres jugadors i que es mantingui el més exacte possible en la nostra descripció de la teoria científica coneguda, sense comprometre la primera. Thrive és un projecte de codi obert i qualsevol persona amb habilitats de desenvolupament de jocs és benvinguda a unir-se al nostre equip. El joc utilitza el motor Godot de codi obert amb el llenguatge de programació C#.
